Our curriculum has high expectations of all students regardless of background or ability. Our aim is for all students to feel emboldened and confident in their own ability by building strong foundations from Year 7 through to Year 11. Our curriculum is rigorous and ambitious adopting a knowledge-rich approach and exposes students to high quality texts from the English canon and beyond. We endeavour to challenge students by introducing them to concepts, vocabulary and ideas that they would not ordinarily choose to explore outside of English. We believe that this aspirational approach inspires a love of reading, writing and discussion both in and outside of the classroom. It develops students into critical consumers of the world providing opportunity, in whatever they pursue, for their next step in life.
