We pride ourselves on being a very friendly school and have been consistently commended on our excellent care and guidance. We are committed to providing a safe yet challenging learning environment where all our students can achieve. Our aim is to ensure that all students leave having made good progress with good academic qualifications and the wider skills needed for life.

Results 2015

Congratulations to all our students this year. The results are a testament to their hard work, alongside the tireless dedication and support of teachers and parents.

This year we are particularly proud of our higher attaining students, with the number of As and A*s increasing by 16% on last year’s very strong performance. This is against a downward trend nationally. The number of students gaining 5 A*-G including English and Maths also improved, as have a number of progress measures.

We are also pleased to note that the government's new attainment measure, Attainment 8, which takes into account 8 GCSEs including English and maths, also improved on last year's best ever performance, from 3.8 to 3.9. Whilst disappointed that the legacy 5 A*-C including English and maths measure has dipped 8% from last year's high, to 35%, we expect once re-marks have been returned from the exam boards for it to be much closer to our target.
